OASIS items collected by clinicians during a patient’s home health admission should have a focus on several of the OASIS items that affect payment, risk adjustment, outcomes, and quality measures. In order for accurate response to these items, clinicians need to have full understanding of OASIS, time points, and specific inclusions/exclusions.
