Learning Outcome

At the completion of this educational activity, the learner will be able to demonstrate knowledge about a cardiac rehabilitation program by passing a quiz with a score of 85% or greater.

Linda is an approved FL DOEA trainer (#6095) for Nursing Home Alzheimer’s Disease Curriculum with over 20 years of experience working with persons living with dementia.  Linda has worked with older adults across the continuum of eldercare as a rehab nurse, geriatric nurse case manager, Director of Nursing, consultant, instructor, and clinical professor.  She has served as the Director of Education at 240 and 180 bed long-term care facilities.  In this role, she developed, implemented, and evaluated competency-based staff education to comply with regulatory training mandates.  Linda appreciates bedside caregivers and enjoys developing creative learning that engages the learners and motivates them to be competent and person-centered caregivers.
