About the Program: 

Care Providers of Minnesota, in collaboration with Healthcare Academy, offers a specialized, self-paced online training program designed for Licensed Nursing Home Administrators (LNHAs) in Minnesota who aim to expand their credentials by obtaining the Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license. This program, hosted on Healthcare Academy’s platform, provides the essential knowledge and skills required to effectively oversee assisted living facilities, ensuring compliance with state regulations and the delivery of high-quality care.  

Program Features: 

Virtual and Self-Paced Learning: The program is entirely online, allowing participants to progress through the material at their own pace, accommodating various schedules and learning styles.  

Comprehensive Educational Content: Participants will have access to over 40 hours of on-demand education, covering a wide range of topics pertinent to assisted living administration.  

12-Month Unlimited Access: Enrollees can access the educational modules 24/7 for a full year, providing ample time to review and master the content.  

Digital Resources: The program includes access to a digital version of Minnesota's assisted living laws and regulations, serving as a valuable reference throughout the course and in professional practice.  

Certification Process: 

Upon successful completion of all course modules and passing the associated assessments, participants should contact Care Providers of Minnesota. The organization will verify course completion and submit the necessary documentation to the Minnesota Board of Executives for Long-Term Services and Supports (BELTSS) to facilitate the licensure process.  

Additional Licensing Requirements: 

In addition to completing this training program, candidates must pass the Minnesota state-specific Assisted Living Director exam. Detailed information about this examination, including study guides and preparation resources, can be found on the BELTSS website.
