About the Program:
Care Providers of Minnesota, in collaboration with Healthcare Academy, offers a comprehensive, self-paced online training program tailored for individuals aiming to obtain the Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) credential in Minnesota. This program, hosted on Healthcare Academy’s platform, is designed to equip candidates with the essential knowledge and skills required to effectively manage assisted living facilities, ensuring compliance with state regulations and the delivery of high-quality care.
Program Features:
Extensive Educational Content: Participants will have access to over 120 hours of on-demand education, covering a wide range of topics pertinent to assisted living administration.
12-Month Unlimited Access: Enrollees can access the educational modules 24/7 for a full year, providing ample time to review and master the content.
Comprehensive Digital Resources: The program includes two digital handbooks that encompass Minnesota-specific modules and detailed assisted living license regulations, serving as valuable references throughout the course and in professional practice.
Certification Process:
Upon successful completion of all course modules and passing the associated assessments, participants should contact Care Providers of Minnesota. The organization will verify course completion and submit the necessary documentation to the Minnesota Board of Executives for Long-Term Services and Supports (BELTSS) to facilitate the licensure process.
Additional Licensing Requirements:
In addition to completing this training program, candidates must pass the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) CORE and Residential Care/Assisted Living (RCAL) examinations, as well as the Minnesota state-specific Assisted Living Director exam.
