At the completion of this educational activity, the learner will be able to:

  1. Describe five (5) common signs and symptoms of COPD.
  2. Select two (2) important concepts in the care and treatment of the person with COPD.
  3. Identify three (3) changes in status that would
    indicate a need to notify the physician.

Learning Outcome

At the completion of this educational activity, the learner will demonstrate knowledge about chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease by passing a quiz with a score of 85% or greater accuracy.
