This educational activity is designed to provide all nurse licensees with an overview of the basic standards of practice, as well as the laws and rules for all levels of nursing in Ohio, including the Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Ultimately, it is each nurse's responsibility to know their nurse
practice act, so we recommend that all nurses read their nurse practice act in its entirety on a regular basis.
