Opioid Use, Overdose, and Naloxone (Narcan) in the Aging Population

This course equips long-term care (LTC) staff with essential knowledge on opioid overdose risks, naloxone (Narcan) administration, and emergency response. It covers overdose recognition, proper intervention, and strategies for opioid safety in older adults. Participants will gain the skills needed to prevent opioid-related harm and enhance resident safety.
